Three Co-op Board Members Re-elected:
Kevin Webber, Gail Petersen and Nick Denessen, directors from districts 5, 7 and 8 respectively, were automatically re-elected to Alger Delta Cooperative’s board of directors after each ran unopposed in the 2005 election.
The cooperative is governed by a nine-member board of directors who each serve three-year terms. Each director is elected by and represents members living in his or her respective district. Board positions are important roles that are not taken lightly, as your board members are the ones who make critical decisions on behalf of the member-owners of this cooperative.
Three seats on the board will be up for election next year in districts 2, 3 and 4.
District 2 is currently represented by Gerald Krieg of AuTrain. This district includes Harvey and Deerton areas.
Robert Gardner of Grand Marais is the current director in District 3. This district represents the Grand Marais area.
District 4 is represented by Roy Hubbard of Cedar River, which includes southeast Menominee County area.
